Big Up!, in collaboration with the Cartagena City Council and the ICA, Institute of Cultural Industries and the Arts of the Region of Murcia, opens the registration period for those musical projects that want to participate in the selection phase necessary to be part of Big Up! Streets of Cartagena 2024, which will be held on April 20.<\/p>\n

The goal of BIg Up! Calles de Cartagena is to publicize the talent and musical concerns that coexist in the Region of Murcia through acoustic concerts in different locations in the city, with the presence of a group of national experts who will be invited to act as scouts and advisors.<\/p>\n

We will soon announce routes, schedules and related activities.<\/p>\n

BASES<\/h2>
  1. \u00a0 A call will be opened for interested musical projects to register through a section of the website www.bigup.live<\/a> within the assigned period. From March 1 to 24.<\/li>
  2. \u00a0 The musical projects or music groups that can participate can be of any musical style (pop, rock, jazz, etc...) that can meet the requirements of the presentation format, that is, unplugged acoustic concerts in the street.<\/li>
  3. \u00a0 A jury made up of National experts, among whom are journalists, promoters, producers and music critics, who will select through a voting system the six bands from the Region of Murcia that will participate in the BIG UP CALLES DE CARTAGENA edition, which will feature with a possible last selection of SON BUENOS taking into account the viability of the format.<\/li>
  4. \u00a0 BIG UP! CALLES DE CARTAGENA is a project for the visibility and promotion of musical projects that are interested in developing a professional career, so one of the selection criteria is the viability of the proposals due to the characteristics of the event and their potential professional development.<\/li>
  5. \u00a0 The six selected bands agree to participate in all promotional activities of the event and of their own band, on the occasion of the BIG UP CALLES DE CARTAGENA<\/li>
  6. \u00a0 Participating groups must accept the planned and predetermined duration of the concert and its location, adapting to the characteristics of the assigned space, being able to create the scenery and resources they deem appropriate. It would be a 25-minute concert in acoustic and unplugged format in a special location in Cartagena.<\/li>
  7. \u00a0 Participants will send links to a video, a link to Soundcloud YouTube, or similar to the music that best represents them, to their social networks and a promotional photo. In addition to a short biography or promotional text of the project, information and concept.<\/li>
  8. \u00a0 Participants may not be professionals or have a record label or management office at the time of registration or during the development of the contest. The participating groups give their authorization and transfer their image rights to Son Buenos ArtMusic SL with NIF B05310867 for the development of the Big Up! Streets of Cartagena and Big Up! Region of Murcia, for the broadcast of songs or concerts in different municipal media, never having commercial use.<\/li>
  9. \u00a0 In the case of minors, they must present express authorization from the father, mother or legal guardian along with a photocopy of their DNI, agreeing to the minor's participation in the contest, with the lack of said document being grounds for automatic exclusion.<\/li>
  10. \u00a0 Any participant who manipulates the participation procedures and\/or fails to comply with the rules contained in this document will be disqualified.<\/li>
  11. \u00a0 The organization reserves the right to change or suspend the activity.<\/li>
